At Pinvin C of E Academy, we believe learning extends far beyond the classroom. We are proud to offer a wide range of free extra-curricular clubs and enrichment opportunities that help children discover new interests, develop talents and build confidence.

Our staff generously give their time to provide a varied programme of clubs throughout the year. Opportunities change from term to term and may include sports, forest school, arts and crafts, computing, science, reading, music, choir, gardening, wellbeing activities and much more. We continually review and adapt our offer to ensure children have access to a broad range of experiences linked to our curriculum and the Pinvin Pledge.

Clubs are available for all pupils throughout the school year. Many clubs take place during lunchtimes, while others run before or after school.

Details of available clubs are shared with families throughout the year. As places are often limited, they are normally allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Occasionally, clubs may need to be cancelled due to low uptake, staff absence or adverse weather conditions, and parents will be notified as soon as possible.

Sport plays an important role in life at Pinvin. Pupils have opportunities to participate in a variety of sporting activities, including inter-house competitions and events against other schools. Our annual Sports Day is always a highlight of the school calendar, bringing together pupils, staff and families to celebrate teamwork, determination and achievement.

Children are also encouraged to showcase their talents through performances, concerts, productions and celebrations throughout the year. Whether performing in front of an audience, exhibiting artwork or taking part in community events, pupils are given opportunities to develop confidence and take pride in their achievements.

For those wishing to develop their musical talents further, instrumental lessons are available through visiting music teachers and specialist providers. Further information can be obtained from the school office.
